Jess stood with Spencer the entire time, watching him grow more and more excited in her opinion. She smiled when he pulled her into a hug and returned the gesture. “You’re welcome. It’s going to be great and if I’m not one of your best men, I’ll kick both of your asses.” She teased, pulling away. “Is there anything else you need here?”

The box slipped out of Spencer’s hand as he and Jesslyn hugged and he immediately let go, jumping to the floor to get it. He shoved it into the breast pocket on his jacket and zipped it shut. It looked silly, but he could feel that it was there and it seemed that would be necessary. “Then you gotta wear a suit.” Spencer’s voice was shaky and his attempt at calming his nerves by joking around didn’t go over very well. Reaching out, he took Jesslyn’s hand and tugged her towards the door. “Not here, but let’s go for icecream!”
